In recent years, the cost of 11x17 Capable Color Laser Printers has dropped into the range that small offices and home business can afford. In the past, when a customer would ask for a recommendation on a Tabloid Printer or a Wide Format Color Laserjet Printer, I would bring up the HP Laserjet 8500 Series. Most people would be turned off by the size, speed and eventually the quality of these color laser printers.
