STRS Continues to Strive for Greener Operations

As a part of our ongoing effort to minimize the ecological impact inherent to our line of work, STRS has begun to utilize used packing materials whenever possible. After some searching, we recently found a local source for used foam. This foam gives us an effective material that protects not only our products, but also the environment. By reusing it, we are keeping it out of landfills. It also allows us to safely pack our boxes without having to use new materials, effectively halving the amount of material that can be introduced into the environment. Using this foam also reduces shipping and handling costs, allowing us to pass the savings on to our customers.
